It is said that before the coming of our Lord and Savior the moon, sun, and stars will be acting in ways that will lead us to believe Jesus is near. There will be signs from these heavenly hosts that will make us believe time is up. Today Astronomers have announced that POLARIS, The North Star has expanded at more than 100 times the rate they expected and they are not sure why. Could this be a sign in the heavens? Polaris is the Pole star that is situated at the North Pole. This star was used by sailors and journey men who navigated by the Heavenly Host. This is where it starts to get interesting with the star Polaris. Some of the names that were given to Polaris were The Pathway, Gate of Heaven, or like the Chinese called it “The Great Imperial Ruler of Heaven”. The star Polaris is located in Ursa Minor Constellation. The Kabbalists associate URSA MINOR with the Hebrew letter Tau. The Tau is the 22nd last letter of the Hebrew Alphabet and is associated with the Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End. This is an amazing find because at one time the constellations spoke of the Gospel before it became corrupted to what is known today as astrology. J.R. Church from Prophecy in the news wrote, “Long before the constellation became a bear, it was pictured as a sheepfold. It represents heaven, the place where the Great Shepherd keeps His sheep”. He also writes that, “There is a star in the constellation called Kochab, meaning “waiting for the coming;” another star, Alkaid, means “the assembled;” and yet another, Alpherkdain, means “the redeemed assembly.” So Ursa Minor tells a story of a “redeemed assembly” who are “waiting for the coming” of The Great Imperial Ruler of Heaven. Wow isn’t this amazing? Soon and very soon the Blessed Hope of the World will return. It will precede with signs in the Heaven telling us he is near. Is Polaris a sign that Jesus is near?

A team led by Scott Engle of Villanova University in Pennsylvania recalibrated historic measurements of Polaris by Ptolemy in 137 C.E., the Persian astronomer Al-Sufi in 964 C.E., and others.
They investigated the fluctuations of the star over the course of several years, combing through historical records and utilising the Hubble Space Telescope.

I’m not sure if it is or not, but I like not knowing, because if the whole world thought it was going to happen we would have even more hypocrites out there “trying to get in to heaven”. I think if you know you are safe and secure in Jesus Christ, that’s all that matters.
Hi Proverbs and thanks for replying to this post. I do believe that u need to be safe and secure in Jesus. He is the authority of it all. I trust him before I trust some star in the sky.The reason for the post was because of the similarity with the name and where it was located and other things that I felt came into play for me to write the article. Like the wise men following the star the lead them to Jesus we can have hope that before the time comes that he will give us warning and signs that the time is near. That is his promise to us
Why is it that Christian and hipocrite seem to be a synonim to so many people. There are hipocrites in all walks of life. The definition is: a person who pretends to be what he is not “play acting” [C13: from Old French ipocrite, via Late Latin, from Greek hupokritēs one who plays a part or puts on a mask. If you are a Christian, you are a Christian. That doen’t mean you are sinless. It means you needed a savior because you were a sinner and found one in Jesus. Everyone is a hipocrite in one way or another. We often put on differant “masks” depending on the situation. I would welcome everyone of them to church.

That’s pretty amazing. I sure hope it is a sign of the rapture. So many things are coming together. That would fit right in, wouldn’t it? I would be curious when the next conjuction of Jupiter and Saturn is. Also, what does CE mean? I’m not familiar with it.

Hi Joe, this is the article that first led me to your blog site – thanks for reminding me about it. There is a lot of conjecture on the net correlating this phenomenon to “wormwood”. While this may not be the 3rd seal opened, I will need to study Revelations chapter 8 more over the next few days, as well as watching to see if the earth experiences more “hail and fire” as described in the first seal being broken. Right now, we know that Indonesia has had a volcano eruption and the US & Europe are experiencing record snow fall w/cold temps. So does this mean the North Star is getting brighter and therefore going to explode and fall down to Earth anytime soon? Nobody but God knows the exact time of judgement. Revelations does tell us that the second seal unleashed upon the Earth is to be a comet or a star falling to earth, not necessarily the wormwood which comes after the first star. Then again, your connection to Tau (Alpha & Omega) is not something I had learned before. Maybe it is God’s way of letting us know that he’s here and coming soon.

This is amazing, Back in Nov. 2013, I looked up at the sky while driving and said to my daughter, “Look how bright the north star is” You could see all the points clearly and that night it was the only star in the sky. I have been watching that star ever since and then I run across this article. WOW!

Hello Bek and Thank you for commenting. I found it odd that the star was so bright. I look into it and found all types of messianic name for the star. Than I thought about the Gospel in the constellation and it all hit me. I was totally shocked when I brought it all together.
