The Archpriest Andrey Novikov believes that Russia is the last barrier in establishing the power of the Antichrist. He says that, “The creation of a single world state with anti-Christian values means the reign of the Antichrist, and so Russia is the last remaining barrier to the rule of the Antichrist.” Russia is the last barrier before the Antichrist makes his appearance. He is absolutely correct when he makes that statement. Russia (Gog) is the last barrier and they have prophetic war with God. It is this Great War, not the Armageddon war, which those on earth will believe that the king of kings has arrived. Out of the smoke and chaos of this Great War will arise a little horn. Daniel 7:8 – I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

 

 

The day will come when Russia will be a hooked by its mouth and be forced to come upon unwalled Villages (Israel) that is living in safety. It will be at this moment in history, when the world will watch in amazement as God makes his hand known in the affairs of men and exacts punishment on the unsuspecting army. Israel will see the hand of God defend her in that dark hour. Brimstone, Overflowing rain, and Hail will rain down and decimate Gog and its invading army. God will utterly consume the invading forces with divine punishment. Not only will the invading forces be punished but so will the lands that participated in this event. Judgment will invade Gog’s and the Islamic confederate homelands. Ezekiel 39:6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. God will be known in the midst of Israel at this miraculous event (Ezekiel 39-7). The world will watch in astonishment and awe as God finally makes his presence known to the world. Even though the victory belongs to God- out of the smoke and ashes of this Great War will come along prophetic Antichrist who will claim that he is God and take credit for the Gog victory. A power vacuum will be left from those nations, which are completely and utterly destroyed. He will arise from this Great War. He will come on to the scene in great signs and wonders, while the world will watch in astonishment. The last Barrier Standing in the Antichrist’s way is finally lifted and his identity will be known. He is the man of sin and the son of perdition. He is the Antichrist and when Russia is destroyed we will witness his rise to power.
