CHICAGO TRIBUNE.COM: A high-profile food blogger has launched a petition to persuade major beer companies to list their ingredients.

Vani Hari, known as the “Food Babe,” has started an online campaign urging Anheuser-Busch and Chicago-based MillerCoors to disclose a full set of ingredients for consumers to see. While food and drinks have strict nutrition labeling standards, beer, wine and pure alcohol are generally not required to list every ingredient.

Hari argues that some beer contains “a long list of controversial additives.” Beer companies are required to list certain known allergens on their labels.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest, a consumer research organization, applauded the petition, noting in a statement Wednesday that it petitioned and then sued the U.S. government to reveal beer ingredients three decades agoREAD MORE: http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chi-beer-ingredients-petition-20140611,0,86312.story

USA TODAY.COM: The nation’s two biggest beer makers are getting cold water thrown on their long-held policies of not disclosing all of the ingredients in their brews.

An online petition to change that — asking Anheuser-Busch and Miller Coors to post their beer product ingredients online — is being spearheaded by influential food blogger and nutritional activist Vani Hari, creator of FoodBabe.com.

At issue: It’s the Treasury Department — not the Food and Drug Administration — that regulates beer. So the beer giants are not required to post ingredients on their labels or on their websites. Hari says even though the law doesn’t require it, consumers have a right to know what’s in the beer they drink. And she wants the beer giants to post it on their websites READ MORE: http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/06/11/beer-ingredients-anheuser-busch-miller-coors-additives-artificial-ingredients/10326005/

It’s not just all the GMO and artificial ingredients, which are bad enough. It’s also the yeast and any sugar that increases the Candida (yeast infection) in your body and distroys organs one by one. I swear by this web site because it worked for me. http://www.knowthecause.com
