Revelation 16:12 – And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
The prophecy above is of a coming prophecy with the kings of the East. It is not happening now, but this is a major warning sign that the River can be dried up in an instance. There are two theories concerning this prophecy. One is that man will shut off the flow of the river just like what Turkey is doing now to fulfill the Prophecy at a later date. The other theory is what I believe; that God will literally dry up the river when the vial is poured upon the Euphrates. It makes sense that God shows the world that he is in control and that Jesus is about to make his appearance onto the end of the world. Biblical warning signs are coming at us at a very fast pace. The birth pangs are slowly increasing and getting stronger with each passing day. Open your Bible up and study it fervently, that way you are not in Darkness and that DAY will not overtake you as a thief. But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4.
WND.COM: The Turkish government recently cut off the flow of the Euphrates River, threatening primarily Syria but also Iraq with a major water crisis. Al-Akhbar found out that the water level in Lake Assad has dropped by about six meters, leaving millions of Syrians without drinking water.
Two weeks ago, the Turkish government once again intervened in the Syrian crisis. This time was different from anything it had attempted before and the repercussions of which may bring unprecedented catastrophes onto both Iraq and Syria.
Violating international norms, the Turkish government recently cut off the water supply of the Euphrates River completely. Something to keep an eye on. I too believe that the river could be dried up by God himself as a supernatural sign. Either way, it will happen

Indeed and i still believe God will actually dry up the river himself on some future prophecy
