Dad Gets Dying Wish To See Son Graduate: “There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.”

RARE: Kyle Woods was ready to graduate, but he didn’t want to without his dad, Greg, watching. Greg Woods is in the final stages of COPD, a disease that makes breathing a difficult task, and may not live much longer.

Kyle’s student and adult peers took note and arranged a special graduation at Mortimer Jordan High School for him, one week in advance.

“I have been worrying about, it hoping he would make it,” Kyle Woods said. And then it happened.

“Looking over there seeing him smiling meant more to me than anything really,” Kyle Woods said.

“There wasn’t a dry eye in the room,” reported the local Fox affiliate.
