SCROLL DOWN FOR NEWS LINKS AND VIDEOS: The Lord Has Risen! He has died on the cross for our sins: “And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed,” (1 PETER 2:24). It was a single act made out of love. He was lead to the cross as a sacrifice for the world. This act tore through the fabric of time to forgive the past, present and future human race and the sins of the world. 1 John 2:2 – And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world. It is because of him that we live and death sting will not affect us.
Jesus did what no other man has ever done. He rose from the dead and left an empty tomb in his wake. Without this act of miracle our faith is dead. 1 Corinthians 15:12-17, “12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 1 Corinthians 15:14-17 “And if Christ be not risen, then [is] our preaching vain, and your faith [is] also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins.” He opened a door of possibility in our lives if we chose to accept it. It is up to you to make that decision. You either chose the claims of this man or you reject them. God doesn’t force you to love him. He doesn’t force you to come to him. His love is in display inside of you by letting you be the decision maker. He lives and because of him you, me, and everyone that we love that comes to him lives. Because of him death has no sting and the grave no victory over us. We can renew our lives through him again and again. It is because of God’s sacrifice that we have a new beginning and second chance. Because of him there is no end! Praise the lord for this glorious day. John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

THOUGHTS FROM AN AMERICAN WOMAN: It is a joyous event – Jesus has come to the end of His ministry as He confirms He is the Son of God promising us life with Him and God the Father. He brought healing to the lame and sick, He fed the hungry and poor and He raised the dead to life, to prepare His Disciples for His death and resurrection and to prepare us today for His return so will know and understand His power over death.
It is a heartbreaking event – Jesus has come to the end of His ministry in pain and suffering to death on the cross. Jesus the Son of God who was sinless and for 33 years had a close relationship with God our Father, there was nothing standing in-between Jesus and God, now for the first time He will find Himself separated from God as He took our sins upon Himself. Jesus became our spotless pure Lamb in the most horrific type of death READ MORE: http://thoughtsfromanamericanwoman.wordpress.com/2014/04/19/easter-gods-love-for-us/

TRUTH 2 FREEDOM BLOG: 15:19 most to be pitied. This is because of the sacrifices made in this life in light of the hope of life to come. If there is no life to come, we would be better “to eat, drink and be merry” before we die.
15:20 first fruits. This speaks of the first installment of harvest to eternal life, in which Christ’s resurrection will precipitate and guarantee that all of the saints who have died will be resurrected also. STOP AND PRAY TV: We don’t like to talk about death. When we absolutely have to, we fall back on euphemisms like “passed on,” “no longer with us,” or “didn’t make it.” Left to our own devices, we’ll ignore it entirely.
The arts are more willing to engage the drama and inevitability of death; as a culture, we read novels and watch movies to try to make sense of it. On our own, though, we’re sociologically and psychologically unequipped to deal with death’s reality READ MORE:http://stopandpraytv.wordpress.com/2014/04/20/the-resurrection-changes-everything/
