SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO AND NEWS LINKS: Do you know who goes before you? Can you sense the one that so many are missing in their lives? I always hear the complaints of those who say where is God in tragedies. They say that God cannot be faithful when the weight of the world falls on the believer. The world slips into chaos and depravity reigns supreme amongst the people of the world. There seems to be no hope as man tries to replace The God of Heaven with their own deeds to make people rely on them. There is one hope for the world though, and His name is Jesus Christ. He is faithful in love, hope, and redemption. He is the word of God that shines in the darkest corners of men hearts. He is the friend that is always by your side, He is the ultimate father to those that are fatherless, and he is the conqueror of men’s hearts. His love is deeper than the depth of the sea and immeasurable than the space of the universe. If you take his free offer of salvation and forgiveness, than the past of misdeeds and pain are forgiven. There is no one like him who can offer you a piece of freedom from a world gone mad. Nothing formed against you will stand even when the storms of the sea rage against you.
To those who say that he doesn’t care think of every single time you have meet a believer who has tried to explain to you the hope that lives in our lives. He loves us and he does everything in his power to seek us. He actually seeks us when we don’t deserve to be found. Call on him and search for him with all your heart and soul. Then watch the power of God work in you the way he has worked in me. I was once a sheep alone and away from the flock, until my redeemer opened my eyes and brought me into the sheepfold. Please do open your heart and mind to the one who offers you life. If you come thirsty and hungry he will provide you with water and bread. Rickey Waggoner carried a Bible with him that saved his life when he was attacked by three thugs. They shot him and the Bible actually stopped the bullets from killing him. The Bible is the word of God, the same word that died for you and me over 2000 years ago. It is never too late to call on his name and he waits faithfully for you to trust in him. Ricky Waggoner trusted God and his faithfulness has shown us what God can do.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
WDTN.COM: The RTA bus driver was shot and stabbed when he was attacked by three teenagers this morning.
Rickey Waggoner, 49, stopped his bus in the 1900 block of Lakeview Avenue just before 5:30 a.m. to fix a mechanical problem when police said when he was confronted by the teens.
He told police he was working on the bus when they approached from behind and he heard one say, “If you want to be all the way in the club, you have to kill the polar bear.” Waggoner said he turned to see three males, one with a gun pointed at his chest. He said the gunman fired twice READ MORE: http://wdtn.com/2014/02/24/rta-driver-shot-and-stabbed/
TRUTH TO FREEDOM BLOG: God is completely faithful to do what He has promised.
We live in a day of unfaithfulness, don’t we? Some husbands and wives are unfaithful to their marriage vows. Children are often unfaithful to the principles taught by their parents. Parents are often unfaithful to meet the needs of their children. And all too frequently we are unfaithful to God.
Only God is always faithful, a fact often celebrated in Scripture: “Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God” (Deut. 7:9). “Thy lovingkindness, O Lord, extends to the heavens, Thy faithfulness reaches to the skies” (Ps. 36:5). “Great is Thy faithfulness” (Lam. 3:23) READ MORE: http://truth4freedom.wordpress.com/2014/02/25/february-25-god-is-faithful-to-care-for-us-2/
