PETRUS ROMANUS: POPE FRANCIS BEING COMPARED TO MODERN DAY JESUS

 

This was bound to happen soon. Pope Francis is being compared to Jesus as he leads the Catholic Church into an area of acceptance for the whole world. “Could Pope Francis be a modern-day Jesus? His Christmas wish included a prayer for Christians under attack, trafficked children, battered women, peace in Africa and the Middle East and more: http://guardianlv.com/2013/12/could-pope-francis-be-a-modern-day-jesus-video/.” The Time’s MAN OF THE YEAR led a prayer in Basicllas square where “The pope’s speech was delivered from the central balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica. Francis spoke a message of love, hope and peace to a cheering crowd of at least 70,000 Romans, pilgrims and tourists. In this speech, which was the pope’s first Christmas message since being elected pontiff, he said he was joining all who are hoping for a better world and cares for others.” Time magazine hasAlso on GMA in an article on http://gma.yahoo.com/39-week-39-game-changer-pope-francis-39-143317956–abc-news-topstories.html they called the pope in the ‘This Week’s Game Changer’ the ‘World’s Parish Priest’. This title basically calls him the Priest of all Christians worldwide, regardless of denominations. This is deceiving because in reality it only applies to Catholic Churches and it may make non-Catholics believe that it may apply to them too.

Do not forget the earth-shaking revelation that the mainstream media failed to report on when Pope Francis will have a seat over the tomb of King David in Mt. Zion. What are we to make of all of this? It is quite simple and the answers are before you if you read your bible. First of all, the bible mentions a prophet who is false in the end time events that will lead many to a false belief and a slaughter to the wolves. Satan is conniving and does whatever he can to replace what God has given us. We as Christians know of a trinity that consists of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. You must also know that Satan has his plan that consists of his own trinity with his Spirit, His son (The Antichrist), and his False Prophet. Remember Jesus came as a Prophet, but also had the characteristics of man. He had God dwelled in him (Spirit) and was God incarnate. Do you notice that Jesus was a Prophet and in likewise fashion this prophet has the same characteristics as Christ, but also as a Christian believer with false doctrines?  I do not believe that the Pope is the Antichrist, but I do believe that he is the False Prophet. For example, 1 John 4:1 reads, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” We are to test those who claim the truth of God. In a sense we know who is deceiving us and we can separate those who try to turn us away from truth.

I know people get really offended by some of the things I may be saying, but know also that the Pharisees were offended when Jesus came to speak of truth.  We know the outcome of what happened when they couldn’t quiet Jesus and his message. The pieces of the puzzle are coming together and the whole world stands by blindly, failing to remove the scales from their eyes. The believer must make a choice of which side he is on.  It is either man’s truth that seems to twist God’s word or the Redeemer who came to die for you willingly. Your salvation depends on it. Think of Revelation 13: 11, “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon”. A lamb (Christ faith and Christian religious figure) that will speak like a dragon is waiting for that hour to reveal himself upon the whole world very soon.
